The buying situation
A life-safety system is impaired, an authority inspection is booked or commissioning cannot proceed without a listed component.
Separate passive electronic parts from charged cylinders, aerosols and battery-powered devices before quoting. Acceptance, documentation and available aircraft options may differ even when the products belong to one fire-safety order.

Senior freight check
The carrier normally charges the higher of actual and volumetric weight. Dense machinery, long pieces and oversized crates also need aircraft-fit and handling checks before confirmation.
Share the packed dimensions for every piece, plus photos or drawings where the shape or lifting method is unusual.
Air-cargo acceptance
Fire extinguishers, charged cylinders, aerosols and some suppression agents can fall under dangerous-goods requirements. Classification, packing, marks, labels, documents and airline acceptance must be checked for the actual product and route. Review current IATA dangerous-goods guidance.
