What we check
- Government, customs, chamber and carrier sources for rules, fees and formal processes.
- Whether a rate is a worked example, an indicative planning figure or a confirmed customer quote.
- Whether delivery timing is an estimate and which factors can delay customs clearance.
- Whether destination, product, value, dimensions or importer status can change the answer.
Our editorial process
We move each new or materially updated page through opportunity review, search-intent validation, source research, information-gap analysis, drafting, claim verification, human review and final SEO checks. Publication requires a human decision; an AI-generated draft is not treated as approval.
Material claims are checked against a source that supports the exact wording. When a current price, delivery commitment, customs treatment or requirement cannot be verified, we remove it, qualify it or label it as unknown rather than guessing.
Original evidence and expert review
Where a page depends on operational experience, we seek shipment examples, calculations, customer questions or logistics-team input. Illustrative calculations are labelled as examples and are not presented as real customer results.
How prices and timings are presented
Public rate examples are not binding quotations. The billed weight can depend on both actual and volumetric weight, and destination or handling surcharges can apply. A confirmed quote requires the collection location, destination, contents, value, weight and packed dimensions.
Transit times are planning estimates, not guarantees. Customs requests, restricted products, remote delivery areas and incomplete receiver information can add time.
Primary sources
For customs and documentation pages, we prefer the responsible authority over summaries from commercial websites. Examples include Dubai Chambers, Dubai Customs and the International Chamber of Commerce.
Corrections and current quotations
If an official requirement has changed or a page is unclear, email info@shipfromdubai.com with the page URL and the source. For a shipment-specific answer, request a current quote rather than relying on a public example.
Priority commercial and customs pages are reviewed when an authority changes its guidance, a customer flags a material issue, or performance indicates that the page no longer answers the search intent. The editorial owner records the decision to publish or revise.
