Dangerous and controlled goods
Dangerous goods and other controlled items require separate declaration and approval. A safety data sheet, battery test summary, product specification, permit or compliant packing may be requested. Never hide a controlled component inside a general description. For shipments classified as DG, see our dangerous goods shipping page. Review the current IATA dangerous-goods guidance and lithium-battery guidance, then provide the product-specific information for an acceptance check.
Cargo we may decline
Shipments are not accepted where prohibited by law, sanctions, customs, carrier rules or safety requirements. We may also decline inadequately packed cargo, incomplete or inconsistent documents, undeclared dangerous goods, prohibited items, or movements for which the parties and end use cannot be satisfactorily checked.
Route and service availability
Priority Air, Standard Air Freight and eligible consolidated services may be considered according to the route and cargo. A service remains subject to capacity, carrier acceptance, customs and applicable law. For UAE requirements, start with Dubai Customs; the importer should verify the exact product requirement.
Not sure? Describe the product precisely and share the manufacturer’s document before arranging collection. Our team will request the necessary acceptance information.
