Before we quote
The buying situation
An asset is off-hire, a project machine is immobilised or a workshop has committed to a return-to-service date.
For high-density parts, safe handling can matter more than total shipment weight. State the heaviest single piece and confirm whether both collection and delivery locations have suitable lifting equipment.
Documents and evidence
Senior freight check
The carrier normally charges the higher of actual and volumetric weight. Dense machinery, long pieces and oversized crates also need aircraft-fit and handling checks before confirmation.
Share the packed dimensions for every piece, plus photos or drawings where the shape or lifting method is unusual.
Quote workflow
