How dangerous goods work by air
"Dangerous goods" (also called hazmat or DG) are items that can pose a risk in transport — flammable liquids, batteries, aerosols, corrosives and more. Air transport of dangerous goods is governed by the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations, and each item is assigned a UN number and class that decides how — or whether — it can fly.
Perfume is a common example: alcohol-based perfume is classified as a flammable liquid. We do not offer that service. Lithium batteries have separate rules, and acceptance depends on their type, rating, condition, packing and route.
What we do — and what we won't
Tell us exactly what the item is (and its UN number or safety data sheet if you have one) and we will advise on how it is classified, what packaging and labelling it needs, and the compliant service to move it. We prepare the dangerous-goods declaration and coordinate the shipment.
Where an item cannot legally or safely go by air, we will say so plainly rather than risk your shipment being seized, fined or worse. Honest classification up front is the whole point — it protects your goods, the aircraft and your business.
