Who this route serves

Built for commercial deadlines and accountable receiving teams.

Riyadh construction and fit-out contractors
Hotel pre-opening and corporate workplace teams
MEP procurement and commissioning managers

What commonly moves

MEP assemblies, fit-out samples, hotel OS&E, controls, tools and installation-critical project material.

Each quotation is checked against the commodity, dimensions, cargo-ready date, customs position and final-delivery scope. A transit estimate begins after cargo and documents are accepted.

Important: destination and cargo acceptance are never assumed. Controlled items, permits and consignee readiness are checked before booking.
  1. 01Identify the work package and required-on-site date
  2. 02Separate milestone-critical pieces from replenishment stock
  3. 03Confirm the Saudi importer and commodity conditions
  4. 04Book delivery against the Riyadh site receiving window

Delivery and receiving

Plan for Riyadh site control, not only city arrival.

State the project gate, approved receiving hours, site contact, vehicle restrictions and unloading method. Delivery is planned only after the importer and site confirm that the cargo can be cleared and received.

Service choice

Match the mode to the operational deadline.

Priority Air

For breakdowns, shutdown windows and project-critical pieces.

Standard Air Freight

Balanced uplift and cost for normal commercial deadlines.

Planned or Consolidated

For flexible cargo, eligible routes and available capacity.

How to choose: Use priority uplift for the pieces that protect commissioning or handover. For complete project batches, compare air and road using the same door-to-site scope and actual site date.

Services are not offered where prohibited by sanctions or applicable law. Availability remains subject to route, carrier and cargo approval.

Quote checklist

Send a brief the freight team can price.

  • Dubai collection point and confirmed cargo-ready date
  • Riyadh project, work package and required-on-site date
  • Item descriptions, values, origin and HS codes where known
  • Piece-level packed dimensions, weights and stackability
  • Importer, broker, gate-booking and unloading arrangements

Documents

Prepare the clearance file early.

  • Detailed commercial invoice tied to purchase-order lines
  • Packing list with case marks, dimensions and gross weights
  • Transport and origin evidence required for the shipment
  • Product certificates or permits identified by the Saudi importer
  • Project delivery note, receiver and gate-booking reference

Cargo acceptance

Check the freight before collection.

  • Crates are marked by work area or installation sequence
  • Any batteries, liquids, aerosols or pressure items are declared
  • Final packed sizes—not catalogue sizes—are supplied
  • The consignee can import every line item
  • Forklift, crane or tail-lift need is stated before pricing

Customs readiness

The receiver must be ready before uplift.

Saudi ZATCA says importers should prepare the commercial invoice, transport document and any commodity-specific documents, and complete Fasah procedures before arrival. The Saudi importer or broker must confirm the current requirement for each HS code.

Official portals provide general requirements, but the importer or appointed broker should confirm the live position for the exact commodity, value and intended use.
