What AOG shipping means
AOG stands for "Aircraft on Ground" β an aircraft that cannot fly until a required part arrives. Because a grounded aircraft is extremely expensive to keep idle, AOG shipments are treated as time-critical and usually move on the fastest routing available.
We prioritise AOG consignments from Dubai, prepare the export documentation while the booking is being made, and hand over to the fastest DHL Express or priority air service for the destination. We give you a tracking number so you can follow the part to the operator or MRO.
What we handle for you
We arrange collection from your facility across Dubai, Abu Dhabi or Sharjah, prepare the commercial invoice and HS classification, and manage the export clearance. Where your consignee has a handling agent at the destination airport, we coordinate the details so there are no surprises on arrival.
Some aircraft parts are classified as dangerous goods β for example lithium batteries, chemical oxygen generators, or items containing flammable fluids. These must be declared and packed to air-transport rules, and a few cannot travel by air at all. Tell us exactly what the part is and we will advise on the correct, compliant way to move it (see our dangerous goods page).
